Description: Dirkey is an extremely small Folder bookmarking utility for MS Windows. You can define a bookmark for the current active folder in an Explorer or File Open/Save window using a shortcut key and go back to that folder in the same or another window with the touch of a key. Note: Listed here is a version version of Dirkey which only works on Windows 2000 and XP. Other versions of Dirkey are also available.

NOTE: As of June 2005 Dirkey is owned by Infover. Protonfx no longer offers any kind of support for Dirkey.

Description: This program removes all HTML tags and JavaScript from one or more HTML files. It does no special formatting, it just removes the tags. It is still a nice little tool, though it is kind of obsolete now since every good browser has a Save As Text function nowadays. It could still be usefull if you haven't got a browser installed or for converting a lot of HTML files at once. This ZIP file includes both the 16bit DOS command line version (1.5) and the 32bit GUI Windows version (1.5a).

Description: A DOS command line based program that lets you jump to directories by just typing the name of the directory (the program will find the whole path and will change to the directory). There are hundreds of programs like this out there and this DOS program is kind of obsolete now, but I decided to put this program on this page anyhow because it was my first long running programming project. The project was already declared officially dead back in 1997 (v1.3c), but this update was released because the program wasn't Windows 98 compatible (it would just crash).
